some thoughts, and the summer schedule

Your book collection is important. It's why I'm in business. Whether it's a few shelves or an entire room, your library creates space in your life for good novels, poems, thought, and information. This space, in turn, can give rise to a real connection between you and other readers, between home and the larger culture, between literature and the other arts. And when you give a couple of good books to a child or friend, it's even better! You help to actively cultivate book culture in your community.

I'll be wrapping up the summer list at the end of July. Don't forget to visit the website, www.danfarnbach.com, for pictures and more information. I will be on vacation throughout August, so call today to place an order for either the spring or summer list! Phone: (202) 237 1547.

Market days for the rest of July:
Sundays at Eastern Market, July 12, 19, and 26
Arlington courthouse market on one of the Saturdays, if possible
As always, "weather permitting" on all market days
